Privacy policy

1. Who we are

This website at jmdmventures.com.au is operated by JMDM Ventures Pty Ltd (ACN 703 266 031, ABN 92 703 266 031). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean JMDM Ventures Pty Ltd.

Our registered office is Unit 8A, 213-215 Brisbane Road, Biggera Waters QLD 4216, Australia.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

It covers this website only. Our products, including Credit Corrections, run on their own websites and have their own privacy policies.

3. What we collect

The only way this website collects personal information is the enquiry form. When you send it, we collect:

your name
your email address
your business name, if you give one
what you need, from the options you pick
your message

With each submission we also record the date and time, the page the form was sent from, your browser’s user agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash is used for spam control and cannot be turned back into your IP address.

We do not ask for, and you should not send, sensitive information such as health, financial account or identity document details through the form.

4. Why we collect it

We use what you send to reply to you, to keep a record of the enquiry, and to protect the form from spam and misuse. We do not use it for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed in section 5.

5. Where it is stored and who sees it

When you submit the form, your submission is stored in a database on Cloudflare’s platform (Cloudflare D1). The people who read and reply to enquiries at JMDM Ventures Pty Ltd read it from there. When email notification is switched on, a notification email with the contents of your submission is also sent to a JMDM Ventures Pty Ltd mailbox hosted on Google Workspace. No one else sees it.

Cloudflare and Google may store and process data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By sending the form you consent to that overseas handling. Each provider’s own privacy policy governs its handling of the data it holds for us.

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep a reasonable business record, then delete them.

6. Hosting and logs

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs (such as the requested address, the time, your IP address and browser details) for security, performance and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

7. Spam protection

The form uses a hidden field that people never see, a timing check, and a limit on how many submissions can come from one hashed IP address in a short period. We may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a challenge that runs in your browser to tell people from automated software. If Turnstile is on, it loads from Cloudflare and Cloudflare’s privacy policy applies to it.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

9. Links to other sites

This website links to Credit Corrections and may link to other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

10. Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by sending a message through the enquiry form. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

11. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, send a message through the enquiry form and we will look into it and reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version line at the top of this page shows the current version and date.
